Introduction

My name is Bob Maddux and I’m a biblical supernaturalist. I’m not sure if that’s an actual catagory but I’ve coined it to fit this new Blog. Let me explain. All too often those who explore the realm of the supernatural get lost in scary and weird places where they experience a reality beyond this world but have no safe guidelines for getting around in it. As a result they end up confused, possessed, deceived or all three. When you bring up the bible with many people they immediately picture some anemic, narrow world view that makes excuses for the Church's current lack of supernatural manifestations or label anyone who believes that such things can happen as inspired by the devil or deluded. This is sad because not only does the Bible record some of the most amazing displays of supernatural power but it also gives us a road map on how to operate safely in this realm. Yes, there are dangers in the supernatural, and yes many people, even sincere seekers can get lost there but there is also a wonderful and biblically guided way to journey in this realm.
